Nina's inspiring journey began in her Moldovian childhood, navigating poverty on her parents' farm. Defying the odds, she boldly decided to come to the United States. As a dedicated nurse, Nina seamlessly integrates her expertise into the world of complementary healing, discovered through the transformative power of yoga since her youth. Practicing yoga from an early age, Nina's journey led her to embrace meditation and Reiki. In 2021, she founded the Oak Hill Reiki And Yoga Center in Crown Point, Indiana. This haven goes beyond the conventional wellness center; it's a space where healing encompasses not only the physical but also the mind and spirit.
At Oak Hill, Nina, with her nursing background, and her team of dedicated practitioners curates a space where well-being is a holistic journey.
Reiki is a Japanese word that combines "Rei," meaning "Universal Life," and "Ki," meaning "Energy." This healing practice is not linked to any religion or religious practice. It involves using attunement to channel spiritually guided life force energy. During a session, the practitioner transmits universal energy through their hands to the receiver, using techniques such as centering, cleaning, extracting harmful energies, infusing, balancing chakras, smoothing, and cleansing the aura.
